The fun doesn’t end when the sun goes down in Rockbridge County. With stargazing, a ghost walk, axe throwing, and more, evenings can offer some of the most entertaining experiences during your visit. If the stories are true, the ghosts of a dog, a horse, and numerous former residents linger in the historic homes and narrow alleyways of downtown Lexington. Local entertainer Mark Cline – look for the man in the top hat – will likely be your guide on the city’s popular Haunting Tales ghost tour. You’ll learn a lot of history too!
