Join the New Providence Historical Society on a free tour of our Presbyterian Church graveyard. It is the final resting place of over 200 souls including 59 veterans of the Revolutionary War. On this tour you will learn about the history of the graveyard, cemetery folklore, and some local heroes. Historic church dates back to 1730's. To reserve your spot, send an email to NPcemeterytours@gmail.com. We will meet in the church parking lot at 1307 Springfield Ave, NP. There are two tours during Union County's Four Centuries in a weekend event while the Society is celebrating its 60th anniversary. All free tours are conducted by society trustee John Sponauer.
